Poffertjes (also known as brothers') are very similar to Pancakes but much smaller. They are a traditonal Dutch treat made with Buckwheat Flour and Yeast. These are served warm with melted Butter and a thick dusting of Icing Sugar. I first discovered these delicious sweet pancakes after a visit to the Heineken Brewery.
